It wanted to hang on something at the top of the NA2 rotator and cock the instrument on the cart, but I don't know what. All clamps and locking bar were clear. Eventually I managed to wiggle the instrument off by slowly raising the cart and wiggling things until the cart was up high enough to disengage the mushrooms and all for removal of the instrument. SPIcam focus script refused to work tonight. Failed: exposure failed right after it set the focus value Star position (879,77) 2014-10-17 01:17:03 APO.Jack-Obs1.spicamExpose 286 spicam w debug="window=(635, 1, 1125, 323), bin=(2, 2), over=(0, 0)" 2014-10-17 01:17:03 APO.Jack-Obs1.spicamExpose 286 spicam f text="window cols (1269, 2249) not between 1 and CCD edge (2048 unbinned)" I selected a different star (485,258) and the script was fine with the new selection. The FWHM arcsec reported in the focus window was wrong (example 10.0 pixels = 0.51 arcsec). The FWHM pixels were correct. 06:08 telescope drifting in alt in the NA2 guider. PR Submitted. TSPEC mounted and unmounted fine during instrument changes later in the evening. I still have no idea what was going on or binding it earlier. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- UW06 S T/H 06:05 06:50 Fiducial errors in Az, bad tracking.
