It seemed to do the trick as I had no problems with the mirrors. Clouds started coming in a little after midnight. By 03:20 they were getting thick enough to cause some concern. We were getting no useful data at this point, so I opted to close. We gave up at 04:50 due to heavy clouds and more to our west approaching. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:30 dcamera 539( 415) 140 59 3.0 4.3 4.2 4.6 2.9 -- 1.46 18:32 NA2gdr 1990(23990) 140 59 3.0 4.2 4.1 4.5 2.9 clear 1.30 23:44 dcamera 614( 404) 169 62 2.8 2.7 3.2 2.6 2.7 -- 0.80 00:16 ecamera 746( -508) 169 52 2.7 2.6 3.0 2.6 2.6 ND2 0.63 02:11 ecamera 752( -516) 185 53 3.2 2.4 2.8 2.6 2.7 ND1 0.87 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 39 5 11 319 (NW) 405 clear none 17:00 39 7 11 318 (NW) 405 clear none 18:00 37 10 16 316 (NW) 405 clear none 19:00 38 15 16 294 (WNW) 405 clear none 20:00 39 15 17 318 (NW) 405 clear none 21:00 37 18 12 312 (NW) 405 clear none 22:00 38 18 11 312 (NW) 405 clear none 23:00 39 15 18 308 (NW) 405 clear none 00:00 37 16 11 295 (WNW) 405 mstly clr none 01:00 36 6 4 312 (NW) 405 ptly cldy none 02:00 37 1 7 58 (ENE) 405 mstly cldy none 03:00 39 2 3 335 (NNW) 405 cloudy none 04:00 38 2 12 52 (NE) 405 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
