I adjusted the echelle pointing, it was off just a little. 04:5205UT ecam hung, needed to be reset. I noticed some background fluctuations in the ecam images tonight. It looked like thin clouds passing and raising and lowering the background levels in the image, It was perfectly clear though. These were with 5 sec exposure times. It didn't affect guiding. It was seen in many ecam images during the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:06 ecamera 719( -399) 31 73 4.7 5.6 5.2 4.9 4.9 ND3 0.67 19:20 ecamera 750( -412) 92 77 5.5 4.7 5.0 4.4 4.2 ND2 0.88 00:18 dcamera 531( 397) 120 54 4.4 4.0 4.5 3.8 3.8 -- 1.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 43 13 3 286 (WNW) 405 clear none 17:00 42 11 4 257 (WSW) 405 clear none 18:00 41 8 12 274 (W) 405 clear none 19:00 41 6 9 281 (W) 405 clear none 20:00 41 7 9 271 (W) 405 clear none 21:00 42 6 11 276 (W) 405 clear none 22:00 42 6 12 268 (W) 405 clear none 23:00 40 10 10 277 (W) 405 clear none 00:00 39 11 13 269 (W) 405 clear none 01:00 40 10 15 261 (W) 405 clear none 02:00 40 9 21 266 (W) 405 clear none 03:00 40 7 14 258 (WSW) 405 clear none 04:00 39 9 15 238 (WSW) 405 clear none 05:00 39 10 17 264 (W) 405 clear none 06:00 38 9 17 228 (SW) 405 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
