Winds picked up after midnight. I had the observers move to face away from the wind to help stabalize the mirror. Their first target was directly into it. We closed due to wind at 02:30 and reopened at 03:40 when the winds dropped below closure again. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:56 dcamera 712( 473) -41 43 0.8 1.7 1.6 1.7 1.1 -- 2.20 18:35 dcamera 600( 326) -4 55 1.3 1.3 1.4 1.3 1.0 -- 1.50 00:14 dcamera 623( 300) -4 57 0.5 0.3 0.8 0.6 0.4 -- 1.90 03:44 dcamera 589( 245) 202 79 0.9 0.2 0.5 0.5 0.7 -- 1.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 34 11 8 335 (NNW) 405 clear none 17:00 34 10 11 289 (WNW) 405 clear none 18:00 34 9 19 300 (WNW) 405 clear none 19:00 34 10 19 304 (NW) 405 clear none 20:00 35 11 10 356 (N) 405 clear none 21:00 34 8 18 353 (N) 405 clear none 22:00 34 7 21 38 (NE) 405 clear none 23:00 32 9 20 11 (N) 405 clear none 00:00 33 9 21 20 (NNE) 405 clear none 01:00 34 7 15 28 (NNE) 405 clear none 02:00 33 8 23 17 (NNE) 405 clear none 03:00 32 8 26 14 (NNE) 405 clear none 04:00 33 8 17 5 (N) 405 clear none 05:00 33 11 12 3 (N) 405 clear none 06:00 33 12 21 357 (N) 405 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
