We decided to close at 22:30. I looged all of this time out to weather. An estimated 5 minutes of data was taken, so I logged all of it to weather. Opened again at 00:45. Weather held out for the rest of the night. No technical problems. We closed at twilight for cals. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:29 dis-slit 501( 977) 19 48 14.2 15.8 15.8 15.8 14.5 -- 1.19 01:18 dis-slit 469( 795) -50 45 12.7 12.8 13.2 12.9 12.2 -- 1.37 03:52 dis-slit 575( 875) -27 55 12.8 12.5 13.1 12.5 12.5 -- 1.28 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 61 48 8 93 (E) mstly cldy lt rain 17:00 62 47 9 96 (E) mstly cldy none 18:00 61 48 14 122 (ESE) mstly cldy none 19:00 58 46 13 102 (ESE) ptly cldy none 20:00 58 46 14 108 (ESE) mstly cldy none 21:00 58 46 14 109 (ESE) mstly cldy none 22:00 57 47 11 92 (E) cloudy none 23:00 56 48 15 87 (E) cloudy none 00:00 56 48 13 114 (ESE) mstly cldy none 01:00 55 48 14 80 (E) mstly clr none 02:00 54 48 11 92 (E) mstly clr none 03:00 56 46 11 66 (ENE) ptly cldy none 04:00 55 47 11 77 (ENE) ptly cldy none 05:00 55 47 12 78 (ENE) ptly cldy none 06:00 54 46 10 82 (E) mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
