Only moderate seeing, but you can't have everything. The telescope and instruments in use worked perfectly, but I did have some work to do on problems with other instruments and computers. SPIcam is looking well so far after its ion pump replacement. Agile is working but we had some trouble with its rotator which will have to be addressed during the day. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:28 ECHELLE 658( -269) 121 70 7.5 9.3 8.8 8.7 7.6 ND1 1.21 00:20 TSPEC 622( 785) -5 61 8.1 6.0 6.7 5.8 6.5 Ks 1.16 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 56 29 9 250 (WSW) 464 clear none 17:00 53 25 4 276 (W) 350 clear none 18:00 49 22 2 276 (W) 288 clear none 19:00 45 20 6 3 (N) 254 clear none 20:00 46 23 7 175 (S) 382 clear none 21:00 45 24 8 182 (S) 401 clear none 22:00 45 22 7 182 (S) 402 clear none 23:00 44 23 5 169 (S) 354 clear none 00:00 46 18 5 178 (S) 319 clear none 01:00 46 15 2 186 (S) 268 clear none 02:00 47 16 1 197 (SSW) 278 clear none 03:00 44 19 1 208 (SSW) 293 clear none 04:00 44 15 2 293 (WNW) 239 clear none 05:00 41 15 2 332 (NNW) 272 clear none 06:00 44 15 8 356 (N) 245 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
