However, that time was used with taking cals, and we opened as soon as the cals were finished. So we counted the time as observed. For the rest of the night, seeing was excellent and the sky clear. Humidity stayed low. The night was productive, with no problems to report. Patrick observed for the first half. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:52 dis-slit 267( 728) 28 60 14.1 15.8 15.5 15.8 14.1 -- 0.75 00:20 dis-slit 536( 892) 12 51 14.0 13.6 14.0 13.6 13.3 -- 0.91 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 62 53 10 233 (SW) cloudy none 17:00 59 54 3 237 (WSW) cloudy humid 18:00 57 55 2 251 (WSW) cloudy humid 19:00 57 55 2 202 (SSW) mstly cldy none 20:00 57 49 1 217 (SW) mstly clr none 21:00 57 49 5 205 (SSW) clear none 22:00 57 48 1 241 (WSW) clear none 23:00 59 48 3 212 (SSW) clear none 00:00 59 47 2 219 (SW) clear none 01:00 57 47 2 243 (WSW) clear none 02:00 58 50 2 239 (WSW) clear none 03:00 57 49 5 261 (W) clear none 04:00 58 49 2 265 (W) clear none 05:00 59 49 6 264 (W) clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
