Cloudy all night with periods of rain off and on. The low seemed centered right on top of us with clouds swirling around and not really moving in any particular direction. It was raining at 03:00 and my 2nd half observer gave up then. There was little hope that it would improve in the next hour or two. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 18:00 74 42 8 252 (WSW) 557 ptly cldy none 19:00 73 42 7 258 (WSW) 551 mstly cldy none 20:00 69 43 3 250 (WSW) 707 mstly cldy none 21:00 66 45 6 112 (ESE) 1344 mstly cldy lt rain 22:00 66 46 14 129 (SE) 1624 mstly cldy none 23:00 65 45 14 136 (SE) 1589 cloudy lt rain 00:00 59 49 18 36 (NE) 1085 cloudy none 01:00 61 45 12 83 (E) 609 cloudy lt rain 02:00 63 45 5 152 (SSE) 1169 cloudy rain 03:00 56 49 9 33 (NNE) 631 cloudy lt rain 04:00 61 46 1 203 (SSW) 889 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
