The UV03 users were not able to download Echelle slitviewer images, so it took 15 minutes of sky time to get their connections restarted. I did not log this down to equip time as it was their connection (allegedly). The rest of the night continued without issue. The observers switched back and forth between Echelle and TripleSpec over a dozen times, so I did not document every instrument change. It's safe to say both instruments were used equally during their time. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:34 APOLLO 600( 1570) 281 43 17.7 18.5 18.8 18.3 17.6 530nm 1.50 21:40 ECHELLE 543( -290) 95 38 17.1 17.3 17.7 17.2 16.9 clear 1.40 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 75 43 4 219 (SW) 641 clear none 17:00 70 42 3 77 (ENE) 601 ptly cldy none 18:00 69 41 11 90 (E) 723 ptly cldy none 19:00 68 40 6 93 (E) 647 ptly cldy none 20:00 66 39 14 114 (ESE) 680 mstly clr none 21:00 63 39 14 89 (E) 857 mstly clr none 22:00 63 39 14 87 (E) 859 clear none 23:00 62 41 16 114 (ESE) 1035 clear none 00:00 61 42 16 121 (ESE) 1187 clear none 01:00 60 42 10 99 (E) 1278 clear none 02:00 61 41 8 77 (ENE) 1167 clear none 03:00 60 40 9 32 (NNE) 911 clear none 04:00 61 40 3 254 (WSW) 889 clear none 05:00 61 41 6 223 (SW) 1071 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
