Since I couldn't find an immediate fix, we tried to work through it. Red temp was 176 and Blue temp was 186. See emails for more details. Switched early to NM03 because of the issues with Dis red. During the switch, I did a quick pointing fix for NA1 and handed the telescope over to the NM03 guys. Note: PU07 gave up 0.5 hours to NM03, although I used those for pointing checks and inst change. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:51 dis-slit 167( 501) 116 82 17.0 20.3 20.4 20.4 17.4 -- 1.75 00:07 ECHELLE 516( -420) 110 60 14.9 15.9 16.5 15.8 14.9 ND1 1.39 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 77 30 19 248 (WSW) 865 clear none 17:00 71 27 17 250 (WSW) 664 clear none 18:00 70 30 14 263 (W) 527 clear none 19:00 70 29 17 234 (SW) 779 clear none 20:00 65 23 10 265 (W) 873 clear none 21:00 62 20 11 225 (SW) 964 clear none 22:00 63 21 11 240 (WSW) 933 clear none 23:00 63 20 10 250 (WSW) 824 clear none 00:00 63 20 8 261 (W) 800 clear none 01:00 61 20 4 255 (WSW) 720 clear none 02:00 60 18 7 226 (SW) 778 clear none 03:00 60 18 8 224 (SW) 801 mstly clr none 04:00 58 18 7 192 (SSW) 1026 ptly cldy dust 05:00 51 39 22 73 (ENE) 5848 mstly clr dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
