I made manual corrections during this time, assuming it was cloud cover after unsuccessfully re-initializing dcam. Russet checked in toward the last hour of UW05, and called attention to the changes Fritz had made from UT to TAI for some of the guide cams. I called, and he soon signed in and fixed the problem, at least temporarily. There were no more guiding issues, except for cloud cover, which ate up some time during PU05. Other than that, there were no problems to report. Seeing varied from 1-3" during data collection. PU05 finished cals after I went to bed, as the program was going to take close to an hour. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:58 dis-slit 367( 729) 251 77 19.1 20.8 21.1 20.8 19.3 -- 1.50 01:17 ECHELLE 525( -328) 155 70 17.9 17.6 18.2 17.8 17.5 clear 0.96 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 76 37 2 98 (E) 1072 clear none 17:00 72 39 3 129 (SE) 1233 mstly clr none 18:00 70 39 5 101 (E) 1428 ptly cldy none 19:00 71 38 9 72 (ENE) 1233 ptly cldy none 20:00 68 40 6 97 (E) 1351 ptly cldy none 21:00 66 41 8 93 (E) 1506 mstly cldy none 22:00 65 40 8 92 (E) 1323 mstly cldy none 23:00 65 40 8 95 (E) 1326 ptly cldy none 00:00 64 41 12 111 (ESE) 1563 ptly cldy none 01:00 64 42 10 116 (ESE) 1598 mstly clr none 02:00 65 40 3 251 (WSW) 1592 clear none 03:00 64 41 6 178 (S) 1935 mstly cldy none 04:00 64 42 10 131 (SE) 1850 mstly cldy none 05:00 64 43 10 129 (SE) 1796 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
