The two programs ended up trading some time back and forth across the midnight boundary to getting setting/rising objects, but since it balanced out and it was all during bright time, I just accounted it as scheduled. Tonight was photometric all night with good seeing. A little bit of smoke smell came up around morning twilight, but not nearly as bad as the last two nights. There were three altitude tracking failures. The first was in twilight and didn't cost any usable time; I cleaned some moth guts off the drive surface. The second interrupted an exposure; I opened the controller box to let it ventilate better. After the third failure I just restarted the axis and it was okay, but it still caused some delay. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- PU01 D T/H 21:55 22:05 Alt tracking failure/overtemp?
