We got a few drops of rain, but not much. When we were finally able to open again (the last few hours) the sky was clear, but dust was still a bit high and seeing was variable and not so great. No problems to report. Inst checks ran smoothly and there were no motion errors. Echelle pointing was great. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:04 ECHELLE 505( -182) 113 63 20.2 20.8 20.9 20.5 20.0 ND2 0.98 02:26 ECHELLE 489( -415) -99 33 15.1 15.7 16.5 16.1 15.1 Clear 1.60 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 74 33 15 259 (W) 1202 clear none 17:00 75 34 20 252 (WSW) 707 clear none 18:00 76 35 19 242 (WSW) 1604 clear wind 19:00 74 33 19 264 (W) 1285 mstly clr none 20:00 70 31 20 237 (WSW) 1577 ptly cldy none 21:00 69 32 13 247 (WSW) 1514 ptly cldy none 22:00 66 36 8 186 (S) 1571 ptly cldy none 23:00 61 47 22 143 (SE) 2530 ptly cldy none 00:00 62 44 26 151 (SSE) 2330 ptly cldy lt rain 01:00 60 44 19 153 (SSE) 2296 ptly cldy wind 02:00 60 42 23 180 (S) 3254 ptly cldy wind 03:00 60 42 23 197 (SSW) 4512 clear dust 04:00 59 43 13 178 (S) 3845 clear none 05:00 58 42 12 170 (S) 2859 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
