Seeing was good despite this. We did have a period of time around 1am where the clouds were too thick for their targets, and we weren't taking data. However the telescope stayed open the whole night. No other problems to report. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:29 SPICAM 386( 377) 258 43 8.7 10.1 10.4 10.1 8.8 MSSSO R 0.88 19:33 SPICAM 405( 374) 258 42 8.7 10.0 10.3 10.0 8.7 MSSSO I 0.88 23:44 ECHELLE 541( -774) 54 39 8.0 7.9 8.4 8.1 7.9 ND1 1.12 02:19 SPICAM 485( 296) 161 29 5.7 6.1 6.6 6.0 5.5 MSSSO R 0.40 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 53 18 16 258 (WSW) 1438 mstly cldy none 17:00 52 18 14 242 (WSW) 1850 mstly cldy none 18:00 52 18 15 221 (SW) 1153 cloudy none 19:00 51 21 19 212 (SSW) 1822 ptly cldy none 20:00 48 20 15 243 (WSW) 931 ptly cldy none 21:00 47 19 16 240 (WSW) 775 mstly clr none 22:00 47 20 14 245 (WSW) 980 mstly clr none 23:00 47 20 13 252 (WSW) 948 ptly cldy none 00:00 47 18 18 263 (W) 954 mstly clr none 01:00 46 18 23 263 (W) 879 cloudy none 02:00 45 20 20 267 (W) 741 cloudy none 03:00 42 21 13 262 (W) 777 cloudy none 04:00 42 20 17 265 (W) 962 cloudy none 05:00 42 20 12 278 (W) 868 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
