Az started to come out of sync around 06:55:59UT but I don't see any errors in the log window, just TCCPos and AxePos coming out of sync for Az. Our Internet went down around 01:30 to the outside world. User lost connection to TUI. I observed for Leslie while the Internet was down. Internet was also down in Cloudcroft/Tularosa so this wasn't a local site problem. The Internet came back online around 03:50. I finished up the observations for Leslie and handed the telescope back to her at 04:10 09:52UT Rotator stopped (stop button displayed on status window???) no stop button was pressed. It did command it from 173.2 to -179.7. It looks like it was rotating the wrong direction from the AxePos values around that time. DIS slitviewer images looked washed out at 99.5% scaling (default). They looked more normal at 99% scaling. see image 345 as an example. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:56 ECHELLE 630( -305) -40 50 15.0 15.7 15.7 15.5 14.9 ND1 1.30 23:26 ECHELLE 560( -440) -121 39 14.3 14.1 14.6 14.2 14.0 clear 1.40 01:26 dis-slit 453( 448) 123 53 13.7 13.4 13.9 13.5 13.2 -- 1.26 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 64 25 18 220 (SW) 2375 clear none 17:00 68 27 22 265 (W) 2690 clear none 18:00 67 29 22 254 (WSW) 2621 clear none 19:00 63 30 18 263 (W) 2218 clear none 20:00 60 31 19 258 (WSW) 2290 ptly cldy none 21:00 59 31 21 241 (WSW) 2369 mstly clr none 22:00 58 30 10 260 (W) 2220 clear none 23:00 58 29 14 264 (W) 2454 clear none 00:00 57 28 17 267 (W) 2309 clear none 01:00 57 30 16 283 (WNW) 2089 clear none 02:00 56 30 15 264 (W) 1987 clear none 03:00 56 29 17 264 (W) 2115 clear none 04:00 56 29 11 264 (W) 1894 clear none 05:00 54 29 10 263 (W) 1904 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
