Found out I had mismounted the instrument. A quick fix, just re-mount the instrument properly on kinematic. I corrected NA2 pointing in the process as well, while figuring out what was going on. Pointing was spot on afterwards. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:07 APOLLO 550( 1319) -88 35 10.5 14.3 13.6 14.1 11.2 -- 2.00 20:59 dis-slit 427( 358) -143 77 10.4 12.4 11.9 11.9 10.4 -- 1.00 21:56 dis-slit 277( 118) -61 65 9.2 10.5 10.5 10.1 9.0 -- 1.10 01:08 dis-slit 487( 204) 91 48 8.6 7.8 8.3 7.8 8.2 -- 1.08 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 59 18 10 288 (WNW) 1367 clear none 17:00 60 13 11 308 (NW) 1261 clear none 18:00 61 14 13 270 (W) 1037 clear none 19:00 57 11 6 275 (W) 695 clear none 20:00 51 8 3 324 (NW) 598 clear none 21:00 50 9 6 85 (E) 680 clear none 22:00 48 8 13 111 (ESE) 833 clear none 23:00 47 14 14 116 (ESE) 961 clear none 00:00 46 22 15 127 (SE) 841 clear none 01:00 47 22 13 142 (SE) 774 clear none 02:00 46 22 10 175 (S) 758 clear none 03:00 45 30 17 142 (SE) 747 clear none 04:00 45 30 15 170 (S) 737 clear none 05:00 46 31 14 184 (S) 691 clear none 06:00 44 32 10 189 (S) 670 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
