We did tests on the ecam slitwheel and dcam command collisions, along with testing out the dcam warming situation. We exercised the axes with some in-dome pointing models. When we were able to open, we did a short pointing model while we waited for the telescope to cool, did Shack-Hartmann (SUCCESSFULLY!!) and checked dis spectrograph vs slitviewer focus (made mask files after). We then did a long pointing model (because some strange things happened in the short one). Ended the night with some last SH data, and of course the software stopped cooperating. :/ Took GIFS biases. Gradient is down to 10 counts top to bottom, but this is probably less by now (they were taken in the first half). ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:03 dis-slit 386( 271) 141 51 10.4 11.2 11.7 11.1 10.1 -- 1.82 22:11 guider 334( 209) 142 51 10.2 11.0 11.6 10.9 9.9 Clear 1.40 23:14 dis-slit 458( 288) 180 30 8.8 9.4 10.1 9.3 8.5 -- 1.90 00:03 dis-slit 503( 255) 240 47 8.2 8.5 9.1 8.4 8.1 -- 1.90 00:15 SHACK 553( 830) 147 60 7.9 8.3 9.0 8.2 7.7 -- 1.50 01:41 dis-slit 422( 92) 34 61 7.0 7.2 7.8 7.1 6.9 -- 1.80 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 56 27 29 216 (SW) 2052 clear dust 17:00 59 29 29 207 (SSW) 1978 clear dust 18:00 59 22 29 236 (SW) 4982 clear dust 19:00 56 20 25 213 (SSW) 7840 clear dust 20:00 54 20 22 208 (SSW) 10173 clear dust 21:00 54 20 29 226 (SW) 14286 clear dust 22:00 51 11 23 251 (WSW) 6005 clear dust 23:00 51 5 18 274 (W) 2388 clear none 00:00 49 5 19 249 (WSW) 2209 clear none 01:00 47 8 10 266 (W) 1795 clear none 02:00 46 9 16 281 (W) 1598 clear none 03:00 44 9 13 312 (NW) 1894 clear none 04:00 43 11 16 310 (NW) 1924 clear none 05:00 42 12 13 306 (NW) 1790 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
