The clouds cleared, but the dust stayed with us. It was right around the closure limmits most of the night, although I stayed open. The mirror probably needs to be checked for dust. No other problems to report, and seeing was good most of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:40 TSPEC 100( 70) -22 44 7.6 8.7 9.6 8.6 7.6 -- 1.31 00:20 ECHELLE 513(-1004) 211 72 3.7 4.6 5.1 4.5 3.7 ND1 1.04 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 59 16 24 208 (SSW) 5653 mstly clr dust 17:00 59 17 20 231 (SW) 4767 ptly cldy dust 18:00 54 14 23 236 (SW) 7584 cloudy dust 19:00 53 12 20 252 (WSW) 9566 cloudy dust 20:00 39 20 16 81 (E) 4769 cloudy dust 21:00 38 19 4 68 (ENE) 5346 ptly cldy dust 22:00 45 17 11 286 (WNW) 6973 clear dust 23:00 43 17 9 322 (NW) 5791 clear dust 00:00 41 18 8 325 (NW) 5745 clear dust 01:00 40 18 4 281 (W) 6632 clear dust 02:00 39 18 5 195 (SSW) 6928 clear dust 03:00 38 18 2 170 (S) 6342 clear dust 04:00 39 18 1 176 (S) 6257 clear dust 05:00 41 15 1 199 (SSW) 3909 clear dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
