Suggested changes kept overshooting the correct value. I eventually made an adjustment of just one step and it got it within 2.0 zerostep. We closed due to clouds at 01:30. We re-opened at 03:40, stopped due to clouds (but didn't close) at 04:00, the continued at 04:15 until twilight. I mounted GIFS this morning for daytime cals. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:29 dis-slit 575( 190) 187 70 3.3 6.2 5.1 6.2 3.9 -- 1.10 00:05 dis-slit 501( -129) 77 67 1.4 1.4 1.8 1.5 1.4 -- 1.10 03:45 dis-slit 520( -47) -67 60 3.2 2.5 2.5 2.7 2.9 -- 1.24 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 43 18 6 194 (SSW) 2928 ptly cldy none 17:00 41 16 4 199 (SSW) 2415 ptly cldy none 18:00 39 8 6 177 (S) 2681 ptly cldy none 19:00 36 2 9 178 (S) 1468 ptly cldy none 20:00 37 -1 19 155 (SSE) 898 ptly cldy none 21:00 35 4 13 183 (S) 723 ptly cldy none 22:00 33 1 8 212 (SSW) 667 ptly cldy none 23:00 36 12 10 196 (SSW) 1979 ptly cldy none 00:00 35 17 8 196 (SSW) 2253 ptly cldy none 01:00 36 17 13 196 (SSW) 2182 cloudy none 02:00 37 18 19 193 (SSW) 3545 cloudy dust 03:00 37 21 21 188 (S) 4899 mstly cldy dust 04:00 38 20 16 189 (S) 3496 ptly cldy dust 05:00 38 20 10 187 (S) 4403 ptly cldy dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
