We finally opened, and seeing was so terrible, CU07 handed over controls 20 minutes early. APOLLO ran until 01:32, and with bad seeing, we deicided to use the remaining time to do a collimation check with Agile. After reviewing a few images with Russet, we determined that we would need better seeing to conclude this, but nothing appeared to be amiss. After 02:00, the seeing got much better, and the night was productive. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:25 ECHELLE 100(-1630) -60 35 -2.4 -0.5 1.6 -0.8 -2.3 ND2 3.30 02:17 ECHELLE 350(-1574) 26 68 -3.3 -3.4 -2.8 -3.3 -3.5 ND1 2.83 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 43 -2 36 270 (W) 26644 ptly cldy dust 17:00 44 -3 21 293 (WNW) 15827 ptly cldy dust 18:00 39 -6 15 319 (NW) 27258 mstly cldy dust 19:00 35 -9 15 10 (N) 17272 mstly clr dust 20:00 32 -12 3 7 (N) 5201 mstly clr dust 21:00 31 -13 13 14 (NNE) 2988 mstly clr dust 22:00 29 -14 9 6 (N) 2783 mstly clr none 23:00 28 -14 21 33 (NNE) 2437 mstly clr none 00:00 28 -14 12 5 (N) 2416 clear none 01:00 26 -15 15 29 (NNE) 2320 clear none 02:00 27 -11 12 305 (NW) 2177 clear none 03:00 25 -11 16 0 (N) 1991 clear none 04:00 25 -10 16 317 (NW) 1989 clear none 05:00 25 -9 17 328 (NNW) 1862 clear none 06:00 25 -8 17 335 (NNW) 1810 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
