When the clouds decided to clear they went away fast, and after that we had several productive hours on the sky. Everything worked well; there was one large magnesensor correction, which took care of itself. The problem with tcam is resolved. The echelle shutter is still misbehaving and will receive attention tomorrow. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:11 dis-slit 339( 1) -39 63 5.8 7.0 7.5 7.3 6.1 - 1.28 03:44 dis-slit 394( -41) -126 72 5.2 5.2 5.6 5.1 4.8 - 1.26 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 53 9 12 262 (W) 364 ptly cldy none 17:00 56 12 11 259 (W) 415 ptly cldy none 18:00 54 11 17 264 (W) 776 mstly cldy none 19:00 51 7 24 251 (WSW) 1427 cloudy none 20:00 49 8 22 272 (W) 1687 cloudy none 21:00 48 7 20 265 (W) 2220 cloudy none 22:00 47 5 16 266 (W) 440 cloudy none 23:00 47 5 17 289 (WNW) 304 cloudy none 00:00 47 7 12 289 (WNW) 419 cloudy none 01:00 46 10 14 299 (WNW) 463 cloudy none 02:00 45 12 9 334 (NNW) 486 mstly cldy none 03:00 44 11 12 293 (WNW) 499 ptly cldy none 04:00 41 13 7 352 (N) 547 clear none 05:00 42 15 14 304 (NW) 576 clear none 06:00 41 16 4 280 (W) 747 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
