APOLLO stopped early because of the wind limit but my second half observer had a target pointing away from the wind, so I let that program take the time, although seeing was still horrible. Humidity shot up around 20:30 and closed us at 20:56. We re-opened at 00:15. Left telescope parked at alt 75 deg for APOLLO this morning, tert. pointed at BC1 and eyelid open. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:00 APOLLO 797( 1165) 67 56 -3.4 0.2 -0.4 0.9 -2.4 -- 3.00 17:57 AGILE 547(-1938) 48 35 -3.8 -2.5 -2.2 -2.7 -3.6 BG40 3.50 00:33 AGILE 872(-1727) 111 43 -4.7 -4.4 -3.1 -4.4 -4.8 BG40 2.20 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 27 18 23 239 (WSW) 405 clear none 17:00 26 19 28 250 (WSW) 405 clear none 18:00 26 19 22 245 (WSW) 405 clear none 19:00 26 20 23 213 (SSW) 405 clear none 20:00 26 20 22 229 (SW) 405 clear none 21:00 26 24 27 214 (SW) 405 clear humid 22:00 25 24 27 219 (SW) 405 clear humid 23:00 24 21 29 208 (SSW) 405 clear humid 00:00 23 19 26 226 (SW) 405 clear none 01:00 23 17 19 260 (W) 405 clear none 02:00 23 11 20 263 (W) 405 clear none 03:00 21 11 22 250 (WSW) 405 clear none 04:00 20 9 19 250 (WSW) 405 mstly clr none 05:00 20 9 17 246 (WSW) 405 mstly clr none 06:00 21 8 25 263 (W) 405 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
