During first half the observers were able to shoot through. The second half observer was not able to get spectra of any of his faint science targets, but did get extra observations of his calibrators. These data allowed him to refine his setup and will probably be applicable to future observations. Therefore I estimated that approximately one hour out of second half was useful on-sky observations, and this is reflected in the "start" and "finish" times above, even though the dome was actually open all night and the calibrator observations were scattered over several hours. Most of the time we were getting nothing or taking lamp cals. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:33 dcamera 624( 562) 25 49 4.8 5.3 5.4 5.0 4.9 - 1.60 19:05 dcamera 568( 431) -89 64 4.3 4.2 4.4 4.0 4.2 - 1.17 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 42 15 16 321 (NW) 405 ptly cldy none 17:00 41 14 11 299 (WNW) 405 ptly cldy none 18:00 39 14 15 300 (WNW) 405 ptly cldy none 19:00 39 13 15 314 (NW) 405 ptly cldy none 20:00 39 14 19 296 (WNW) 405 ptly cldy none 21:00 41 12 9 302 (WNW) 405 mstly clr none 22:00 41 11 9 309 (NW) 405 mstly clr none 23:00 41 8 14 326 (NW) 405 mstly clr none 00:00 42 6 16 315 (NW) 405 ptly cldy none 01:00 42 7 10 285 (WNW) 405 ptly cldy none 02:00 42 11 10 276 (W) 405 ptly cldy none 03:00 42 11 10 266 (W) 405 ptly cldy none 04:00 41 7 13 287 (WNW) 405 ptly cldy none 05:00 41 5 13 286 (WNW) 405 ptly cldy none 06:00 40 5 11 293 (WNW) 405 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
