I did some more work with DIS slits and a custom setup, making sure it will be ready for good weather. Which was not tonight, but will be soon. The first half observer had previously let us know that he would be unavailable for the first few hours of the night, so a drop-in program was arranged, but they didn't get anything either. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 37 32 21 194 (SSW) 405 cloudy lt rain 17:00 36 32 13 189 (S) 405 cloudy none 18:00 35 31 16 192 (SSW) 405 cloudy none 19:00 35 32 16 216 (SW) 405 cloudy none 20:00 34 32 10 218 (SW) 405 cloudy fog 21:00 33 31 12 214 (SW) 405 cloudy fog 22:00 32 31 18 267 (W) 405 cloudy fog 23:00 33 32 14 254 (WSW) 405 cloudy fog 00:00 33 31 19 256 (WSW) 405 cloudy fog 01:00 33 32 18 235 (SW) 405 cloudy lt rain 02:00 32 32 18 263 (W) 405 cloudy fog 03:00 32 31 19 261 (W) 405 cloudy fog 04:00 31 31 13 272 (W) 405 cloudy fog 05:00 30 30 14 272 (W) 405 cloudy fog Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
