Done at 17:52. Angle for perfect horizontality is 0.394 (as checked on status, I ordered 0.392) 2) Reset axis controllers. Done at 18:28. No change to do. Then we could not open because of cloud coverage and radar features. Dome opening at 20:50 but still cloudy. First slew at 21:08 but with no result: too many clouds. We attempted to run the focus loop (with Russet online). Could not work because of clouds but we also had issues with the control+click in this beta version of the guiding. Russet tested the ecam, tcam and gcam and found other issues with guiding in this beta version. She will report that. I decide to close again at 21:28 because cloud coverage is uniform and don't feel that safe wrt rain possibility. We kept close all the rest of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 42 22 12 245 (WSW) 318 mstly cldy none 17:00 41 25 20 234 (SW) 314 mstly cldy none 18:00 40 25 16 224 (SW) 322 mstly cldy none 19:00 42 26 15 246 (WSW) 264 cloudy none 20:00 42 27 16 243 (WSW) 306 cloudy none 21:00 42 27 15 266 (W) 289 cloudy none 22:00 42 28 13 229 (SW) 359 cloudy none 23:00 41 31 23 223 (SW) 440 cloudy none 00:00 41 31 17 244 (WSW) 466 cloudy none 01:00 40 29 16 253 (WSW) 408 cloudy none 02:00 39 28 13 246 (WSW) 509 cloudy none 03:00 39 28 14 283 (WNW) 567 cloudy none 04:00 39 28 12 270 (W) 494 cloudy none 05:00 38 29 9 269 (W) 532 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
