We closed at midnight because the clouds were too thick for triplespec. Took cals until we could open again. The clouds got thicker throughout the night, and the moon flooded any chance to push through them. We gave up at 04:30. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:17 ecamera 698( -264) -27 20 4.4 7.2 6.4 6.6 5.0 ND3 1.46 20:25 tcamera 658( 758) 109 33 3.2 4.1 4.4 3.8 3.4 -- 1.19 00:18 APOLLO 700( 1229) 58 64 3.7 3.5 3.8 3.4 3.5 530nm 1.20 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 45 24 8 300 (WNW) 713 clear none 17:00 41 25 2 304 (NW) 789 clear none 18:00 40 27 7 266 (W) 895 clear none 19:00 39 28 6 238 (WSW) 956 clear none 20:00 43 20 5 264 (W) 418 ptly cldy none 21:00 41 19 5 264 (W) 447 ptly cldy none 22:00 38 24 8 267 (W) 797 ptly cldy none 23:00 38 26 7 214 (SW) 510 mstly cldy none 00:00 40 21 6 322 (NW) 499 mstly cldy none 01:00 41 17 6 318 (NW) 345 cloudy none 02:00 42 17 7 346 (NNW) 285 cloudy none 03:00 42 20 1 37 (NE) 458 cloudy none 04:00 43 20 1 264 (W) 432 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
