Gratings set 1 how has the B1200/R1200 and Set 2 has the B400/R300. Obs specs should take note of this but I think we are all aware we were going to change back to the original configuration after testing the gratings in the other bays for a few months. New DIS slitmasks created for all slits. DIS slitviewer rotation test (0.9 arc sec slit) dcam image Rotation 0008 -180 0009 -135 0010 -90 0011 -45 0012 0 0013 45 0014 90 0015 135 0016 180 The sky cleared at just a little before 5AM and the 2nd program of the night was able to get some useful spectra. I mounted GIFS in the morning for the UC folks to work on the instrument during the daytime. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 05:17 dcamera 516( 421) 120 44 2.8 4.4 6.0 4.8 2.9 -- 2.00 05:18 NA2gdr 967(22967) 120 44 3.0 4.3 6.0 4.8 2.9 clear 1.60 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 47 20 15 217 (SW) 271 cloudy none 17:00 46 13 23 219 (SW) 159 cloudy none 18:00 45 14 19 195 (SSW) 219 cloudy none 19:00 48 10 23 187 (S) 62 cloudy none 20:00 49 8 26 199 (SSW) 335 cloudy none 21:00 48 12 31 209 (SSW) 242 cloudy none 22:00 48 16 27 215 (SW) 305 cloudy none 23:00 46 19 29 212 (SSW) 364 cloudy none 00:00 45 22 25 201 (SSW) 542 cloudy none 01:00 44 26 27 215 (SW) 402 cloudy none 02:00 42 27 17 199 (SSW) 1052 cloudy none 03:00 40 30 14 231 (SW) 875 cloudy none 04:00 39 29 14 246 (WSW) 364 cloudy none 05:00 37 30 19 238 (WSW) 286 clear none 06:00 37 30 17 225 (SW) 283 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
