I checked every 10 min outside to be sure it was safe to observe. Observed with Echelle and TripleSpec in the first 1h30m (PU02). Echelle from 18:27 to 19:25 then Triplespec from 19:36 to 20:14. Then clear and calm night with productive data despite 4 observers and 4 instrument changes. Humidity rised up in late night but we could observe until twilight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:50 ecamera 641( -266) 21 77 7.6 9.7 9.7 9.8 7.3 ND1 1.32 18:36 tcamera 695( 958) -29 79 8.0 8.2 8.5 8.0 7.7 -- 0.99 19:23 tcamera 695( 948) -136 58 8.2 7.8 8.2 7.7 7.5 -- 1.01 21:57 dcamera 527( 560) -62 46 7.4 7.1 7.5 7.1 7.1 -- 1.48 00:21 ecamera 739( -343) 26 81 6.7 6.3 6.8 6.4 6.1 clear 0.75 02:34 ecamera 739( -371) 22 53 5.8 5.5 5.9 5.5 5.3 ND2 0.82 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 50 31 12 146 (SE) 453 ptly cldy none 17:00 49 27 10 140 (SE) 423 clear none 18:00 45 31 13 159 (SSE) 378 clear none 19:00 46 30 11 149 (SSE) 539 clear none 20:00 47 31 18 197 (SSW) 610 clear none 21:00 47 31 14 201 (SSW) 664 clear none 22:00 46 31 18 203 (SSW) 505 clear none 23:00 45 31 15 217 (SW) 517 clear none 00:00 45 31 10 191 (S) 543 clear none 01:00 44 30 4 210 (SSW) 506 clear none 02:00 43 30 11 223 (SW) 475 clear none 03:00 43 31 11 253 (WSW) 544 clear none 04:00 41 31 12 298 (WNW) 537 clear none 05:00 41 30 7 278 (W) 614 clear none 06:00 40 31 6 309 (NW) 535 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
