The 3.5m dewpoint sensor is still misbehaving, so the dewpoint listed in the weather log below is not reflecting the actual humidity. There were also nearby radar blips for much of the night, and a few actual sprinkles of rain. But some of the radar may have been overreacting to clouds, because neither the El Paso nor the Holloman station switched over to Precip mode. Perhaps they are understaffed due to the government shutdown? While closed, I did some work with DIS on the matter of the shifting slit masks noted recently, and also adjusted the internal spectrograph focus to keep up with seasonal changes. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 53 27 10 186 (S) 500 mstly cldy none 17:00 55 27 13 234 (SW) 426 mstly cldy none 18:00 50 28 18 205 (SSW) 433 mstly cldy none 19:00 50 28 19 201 (SSW) 488 cloudy none 20:00 51 28 19 204 (SSW) 425 cloudy none 21:00 50 26 20 188 (S) 554 cloudy none 22:00 50 28 27 207 (SSW) 435 cloudy none 23:00 50 28 28 204 (SSW) 462 cloudy lt rain 00:00 49 27 32 211 (SSW) 359 cloudy none 01:00 48 28 22 211 (SSW) 453 cloudy none 02:00 46 26 16 213 (SSW) 481 mstly cldy none 03:00 46 28 18 238 (WSW) 421 mstly cldy none 04:00 45 28 20 242 (WSW) 415 mstly cldy humid 05:00 45 28 20 259 (W) 358 mstly cldy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
