Gies, T. Pewett, and Z. Guo) who arrived yesterday and stay for 4 nights. Early night in good conditions. Seeing starting at 1.7 then quickly stabilizing between 1 and 1.2 arcsec. The issue of the DIS slit shift apparently associated with a rotation of the instrument is still present. Also, despite good seeing, an abberation was visible on the DSI guiding camera. I am wondering whethter it is because of the good seeing allowing us to see small abberation, or it is a consequence of the shifted slit. Russet will take a look at it tomorrow. At about 00:54, all users, including tAPO, were disconnected from the TUI. Jon fixed the problem, which was a software issue. Because of this disconnection, the truss lamp control had to be rebooted to switch them off (the shut down happened during cals). This event made loose 1h45m of observing time in total. Then, echelle measurements with the Georgia State visitors were very productive, with excellent seeing (0.5-0.8 arcsec).
