We opened again at 02:00 after the clouds departed and the humidity dropped below closure. Humidity spiked at 03:45 and closed us again. Humidity started to drop at 04:30 and the clouds then moved over top of us! Around 05:15 the Clouds cleared (somewhat) and then humidity rose over limit again. We called it a night at 05:45 with high humidity. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:58 dis-slit 626( -79) -41 44 -2.0 -0.6 -0.9 -0.5 -1.8 -- 4.30 18:56 dis-slit 510( -262) 15 58 -2.2 -1.6 -1.5 -1.7 -2.2 -- 3.50 02:04 dis-slit 520( -218) -13 56 -0.8 -0.9 -0.5 -0.6 -0.9 -- 1.25 02:08 NA2gdr 3438(25438) -14 56 -0.7 -0.9 -0.5 -0.6 -1.0 R 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 31 17 22 60 (ENE) 119 ptly cldy none 17:00 30 12 1 199 (SSW) 145 ptly cldy none 18:00 29 10 10 45 (NE) 152 ptly cldy none 19:00 28 10 1 222 (SW) 166 mstly cldy none 20:00 28 10 8 18 (NNE) 178 cloudy none 21:00 32 10 16 19 (NNE) 109 cloudy none 22:00 31 7 22 17 (NNE) 128 cloudy none 23:00 33 25 13 12 (NNE) 64 cloudy none 00:00 31 23 11 18 (NNE) 83 mstly cldy none 01:00 31 27 15 31 (NNE) 156 mstly clr humid 02:00 31 24 6 355 (N) 64 ptly cldy none 03:00 31 19 4 350 (N) 72 ptly cldy humid 04:00 31 27 9 15 (NNE) 32 mstly cldy humid 05:00 30 20 12 4 (N) 112 ptly cldy humid 06:00 30 28 10 12 (NNE) 48 ptly cldy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
