Then clouds were continually forming just overhead (we could see a perpetual clearing to our west that never seemed to get any closer). Skies cleared enough to safely open around 23:10 but this didn't leave enought time for the CU folks to really get anything useful (they needed a minimum 50 min block and I still needed to focus). They gave their remaining time to the UV program. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:14 TSPEC 482( 228) 116 58 4.3 4.7 5.0 4.9 3.9 Ks 0.92 23:15 NA2gdr 721(34721) 116 58 4.3 4.7 5.0 4.9 3.9 clear 1.07 01:20 TSPEC 494( 192) 178 64 3.7 3.8 4.3 4.1 3.6 Ks 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 47 24 7 266 (W) 345 ptly cldy none 17:00 41 23 13 311 (NW) 405 cloudy lt rain 18:00 40 26 18 302 (WNW) 503 cloudy lt rain 19:00 41 25 17 303 (WNW) 379 mstly cldy none 20:00 40 25 14 278 (W) 593 mstly cldy none 21:00 40 25 11 272 (W) 650 cloudy none 22:00 40 26 12 279 (W) 508 mstly cldy none 23:00 40 24 14 297 (WNW) 451 ptly cldy none 00:00 40 24 4 261 (W) 506 mstly cldy none 01:00 39 28 11 276 (W) 406 ptly cldy none 02:00 39 32 5 345 (NNW) 159 ptly cldy none 03:00 41 32 14 357 (N) 76 ptly cldy none 04:00 40 32 14 20 (NNE) 48 mstly clr none 05:00 43 32 11 332 (NNW) 33 mstly clr none 06:00 42 32 18 325 (NW) 60 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
