It could be the slitviewer optics or some wonky pointing. Fingers crossed for a successful engineering night. Forgot to use the nightlog focus script to record the focus for TSpec. Seeing was 0.93 at 21:34. Summary: Night began cloudy and cleared up after 00:00- productive night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:42 NA2gdr 518(30518) -75 25 10.8 10.0 10.3 9.9 10.3 clear 1.50 03:46 dis-slit 332( 339) -96 44 14.0 13.4 13.9 13.4 13.5 -- 1.24 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 24 12 288 (WNW) 307 clear none 17:00 69 25 11 266 (W) 284 clear none 18:00 65 23 10 272 (W) 284 mstly clr none 19:00 62 20 6 346 (NNW) 291 ptly cldy none 20:00 60 21 6 88 (E) 321 ptly cldy none 21:00 59 26 11 84 (E) 502 ptly cldy none 22:00 58 25 14 88 (E) 555 mstly clr none 23:00 59 24 12 111 (ESE) 591 ptly cldy none 00:00 58 27 15 120 (ESE) 620 ptly cldy none 01:00 57 24 18 132 (SE) 475 mstly clr none 02:00 58 25 18 144 (SE) 454 mstly clr none 03:00 58 26 15 143 (SE) 406 clear none 04:00 57 27 14 137 (SE) 410 clear none 05:00 56 27 17 157 (SSE) 381 clear none 06:00 57 26 10 165 (SSE) 344 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
