Spicam focus script failed, had to manually focus the instrument, PR submitted. No telescope problems otherwise. I left spicam next to the NA2 rotator but NOT mounted (on cart) so my observer could take dome flats in the morning. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:45 APOLLO 450( 1331) -8 35 14.7 16.5 16.1 16.3 15.0 -- 1.70 19:52 ECHELLE 394( -569) -36 51 14.2 15.1 15.2 15.0 14.3 ND2 0.77 22:39 ECHELLE 323( -688) -65 30 13.8 13.5 13.9 13.5 13.3 ND3 1.10 00:12 SPICAM 348( 478) -19 57 12.9 13.2 13.7 13.1 12.9 r 0.73 00:13 NA2gdr 1616(31616) -20 56 12.9 13.2 13.6 13.1 12.8 R 0.87 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 59 48 7 284 (WNW) 516 ptly cldy none 17:00 61 47 21 282 (WNW) 515 ptly cldy none 18:00 63 47 13 271 (W) 431 ptly cldy none 19:00 60 47 14 261 (W) 532 ptly cldy none 20:00 59 45 7 264 (W) 457 ptly cldy none 21:00 57 45 6 263 (W) 698 ptly cldy none 22:00 58 44 5 265 (W) 555 ptly cldy none 23:00 57 44 6 286 (WNW) 493 ptly cldy none 00:00 57 45 5 271 (W) 529 ptly cldy none 01:00 56 45 7 303 (WNW) 450 mstly cldy none 02:00 55 46 4 356 (N) 466 ptly cldy none 03:00 54 47 9 2 (N) 342 clear none 04:00 54 47 6 32 (NNE) 315 clear none 05:00 53 48 12 352 (N) 257 ptly cldy none 06:00 54 47 11 29 (NNE) 188 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
