Pointing was not always off by this much, also depended on what part of the sky the telescope was pointing. The second observer could not log in to Newton using the Q3 password. It seems that Newton is still responding to the Q2 passwords and is not recognizing the newer ones. Had to delay covering up cloud-cam because of bear. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:05 dis-slit 507( 755) 217 66 15.2 18.6 17.5 18.2 16.1 1.58 00:17 dis-slit 409( 428) 89 64 14.4 14.1 14.5 14.0 14.0 1.25 02:42 ECHELLE 371( -631) 117 35 14.1 13.9 14.4 13.8 14.1 ND5 1.99 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 35 1 210 (SSW) 546 clear none 17:00 69 33 1 189 (S) 469 clear none 18:00 67 31 4 126 (SE) 459 mstly clr none 19:00 67 33 14 112 (ESE) 432 mstly clr none 20:00 63 39 11 100 (E) 646 clear none 21:00 60 39 12 111 (ESE) 675 clear none 22:00 59 38 18 124 (SE) 628 clear none 23:00 58 39 19 129 (SE) 866 clear none 00:00 59 39 17 143 (SE) 1005 clear none 01:00 58 37 15 139 (SE) 806 clear none 02:00 58 35 5 134 (SE) 698 clear none 03:00 59 35 2 216 (SW) 610 mstly clr none 04:00 57 35 2 139 (SE) 585 ptly cldy none 05:00 57 35 8 180 (S) 710 ptly cldy none 06:00 55 37 7 137 (SE) 751 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
