Seeing was around 1" all night. Very low dust/smoke, very little wind. Light fluffy clouds first half, which gave way to photometric skies second half. Did a variety of tasks, engineering email sent separately. I reopened one of the louver prs. The lower one on the NA2 side still doesn't open, or shortly after closes itself again. I operated them in auto tonight, as Joe and I discussed and agreed in the afternoon (based on Ed closing the prs). If that is wrong and they still need to be in manual mode, please let me know. Thanks! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:49 dis-slit 312( 556) 102 69 15.9 18.4 17.7 17.8 16.4 -- 0.93 21:40 NA2gdr -1241(20758) -26 63 15.7 16.0 16.2 15.7 15.8 Clear 1.24 21:42 NA2gdr -765(21234) -27 63 15.9 15.9 16.2 15.7 15.8 Clear 0.85 00:34 dis-slit 352( 459) 337 54 16.1 15.7 16.1 15.6 15.9 -- 1.20 03:16 SHACK 225( 839) 60 60 14.7 14.9 15.4 14.8 14.5 -- 0.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 71 28 9 247 (WSW) 1068 mstly clr none 17:00 71 27 3 266 (W) 1208 mstly clr none 18:00 68 27 8 262 (W) 1541 mstly clr none 19:00 65 25 7 272 (W) 1432 mstly clr none 20:00 62 25 7 198 (SSW) 1359 mstly clr none 21:00 61 25 6 183 (S) 1510 mstly clr none 22:00 59 25 10 159 (SSE) 1787 mstly clr none 23:00 63 19 10 185 (S) 1651 mstly clr none 00:00 60 20 14 207 (SSW) 1479 mstly clr none 01:00 61 19 9 232 (SW) 1342 clear none 02:00 60 18 9 217 (SW) 1296 clear none 03:00 61 18 8 200 (SSW) 1288 clear none 04:00 61 18 5 259 (W) 1628 clear none 05:00 57 18 5 237 (WSW) 1328 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
