I closed the mirror covers and re-opened then and then the eyelid opened. Not sure if the other eyelids were affected or not (I couldn't actually visually see any of them open/close in the Visible light dome cam). Perhaps the cam just didn't engage correctly for the eyelid? Guy noted banding in the Echelle bias frames tonight. I ran out of LN2 on the GFP at 04:10 (filled earlier in the evening at 18:10). I topped it off again when I closed at 06:00. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:17 APOLLO 500( 1615) 35 74 20.6 21.9 22.0 21.6 20.6 -- 1.40 20:38 ECHELLE 369( -308) 118 39 20.1 20.4 20.8 20.1 19.8 ND3 1.14 00:08 ECHELLE 388( -428) 132 77 18.2 18.4 18.8 18.2 17.8 clear 1.20 01:12 TSPEC 418( 819) 207 71 17.6 17.7 18.2 17.6 17.3 Ks 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 80 36 15 181 (S) 625 clear none 17:00 79 35 15 224 (SW) 591 clear none 18:00 77 34 16 214 (SW) 509 mstly clr none 19:00 74 32 15 215 (SW) 498 mstly clr none 20:00 70 27 9 193 (SSW) 436 clear none 21:00 69 25 16 160 (SSE) 449 clear none 22:00 68 28 16 161 (SSE) 516 clear none 23:00 67 30 13 173 (S) 626 clear none 00:00 67 30 19 138 (SE) 763 clear none 01:00 65 30 23 131 (SE) 1154 clear none 02:00 64 30 23 143 (SE) 1176 clear none 03:00 64 30 19 133 (SE) 1108 clear none 04:00 64 27 17 150 (SSE) 869 clear none 05:00 64 27 13 168 (SSE) 868 clear none 06:00 64 30 17 179 (S) 893 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
