Night turned out to be pretty good. Lost 45 minutes of the third observers time because of Obs-spec clumsiness. Rest of the observing was fine, did not have much trouble helping UW02 with the guiding. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:23 SPICAM 302( 692) 120 55 16.6 18.2 18.2 18.0 16.9 R 0.79 23:16 ECHELLE 464( -492) 19 39 14.6 14.9 15.4 14.8 14.6 ND3 1.44 01:09 dis-slit 331( 321) 26 73 13.1 13.6 14.1 13.4 13.0 1.83 02:41 dis-slit 377( 331) -107 71 13.3 12.8 13.3 12.9 12.7 1.28 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 75 45 17 209 (SSW) 1283 mstly cldy none 17:00 67 43 8 207 (SSW) 1219 mstly cldy none 18:00 64 45 3 142 (SE) 1314 mstly cldy lt rain 19:00 67 43 9 190 (S) 1280 mstly cldy none 20:00 66 42 6 173 (S) 1146 ptly cldy none 21:00 63 42 9 147 (SSE) 1333 mstly clr none 22:00 61 42 20 131 (SE) 1563 clear none 23:00 60 42 22 128 (SE) 1452 clear none 00:00 59 42 21 127 (SE) 1464 clear none 01:00 58 42 22 127 (SE) 1438 clear none 02:00 56 44 11 112 (ESE) 1484 clear none 03:00 56 44 17 134 (SE) 1294 clear none 04:00 56 43 22 137 (SE) 1147 clear none 05:00 56 43 16 153 (SSE) 1182 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
