I only adjusted it with a set imcenter command. If it continues to be off again tomorrow, I will make a more permanent fix. Dust (smoke) started spiking around 02:10. Reversed press fans and closed louvers. Dust counts were only elevated for about 15 mins (7K) then dropped back below closure levels. We stayed open. Another dust spike around 03:00. Went outside to see what was going on, very strong smell of smoke, came back in and dust levels were climbing and we closed. We gave up at 04:40 as dust counts were still above closure. Please CO2 the mirror from all the smoke we have had the past couple of nights. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:16 ECHELLE 676( -247) 43 71 14.1 16.2 15.8 15.7 14.6 ND3 0.80 00:04 dis-slit 387( 368) 4 67 14.0 13.3 13.8 13.3 13.5 -- 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 22 16 242 (WSW) 1889 clear none 17:00 67 21 20 237 (WSW) 2058 clear none 18:00 65 19 16 268 (W) 2216 clear none 19:00 63 18 14 249 (WSW) 1927 clear none 20:00 58 14 12 263 (W) 2222 clear none 21:00 58 14 12 263 (W) 2357 clear none 22:00 59 15 17 266 (W) 1600 clear none 23:00 57 14 13 266 (W) 1319 clear none 00:00 57 11 14 285 (WNW) 1330 clear none 01:00 57 14 17 280 (W) 1366 clear none 02:00 57 12 13 284 (WNW) 1562 clear dust 03:00 56 12 12 290 (WNW) 8936 clear dust 04:00 57 14 18 318 (NW) 26582 clear dust 05:00 57 13 4 318 (NW) 10789 clear dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
