Joe was on site to do his TSPEC slit tests. Took data with SH, didn't want to reduce. Russet will further explore why tomorrow. It looked similiar to what she got in Dec 11. Checked collimation with Agile, and it looked great. I started a pointing model but had to stop it 38 stars in due to the increasing clouds. I had already lost several points in the model due to them. At 04:30 the clouds started to clear and I did the biggrid.dat model. I ran out of time, with only 77 points taken, due to a miscommunication. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:04 TSPEC 389( 594) 24 60 12.1 13.6 13.7 13.2 12.1 Ks 1.10 20:09 GUIDER 697( 796) -129 45 11.9 12.2 12.7 12.0 11.6 R+ND2 0.89 20:49 SHACK 272( 723) 94 57 11.6 11.6 12.1 11.6 11.1 -- 1.00 22:24 GUIDER 747( 737) 87 65 10.5 10.6 11.1 10.5 10.2 R+ND2 1.00 03:31 GUIDER 759( 670) 62 46 8.5 8.6 9.2 8.7 8.4 R+ND2 0.95 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 61 18 20 264 (W) 1623 clear none 17:00 59 16 17 268 (W) 1263 clear none 18:00 60 17 16 244 (WSW) 1487 clear none 19:00 57 14 17 258 (WSW) 1725 clear none 20:00 54 11 23 253 (WSW) 1856 clear none 21:00 54 11 22 245 (WSW) 1778 mstly clr none 22:00 52 11 17 276 (W) 1297 ptly cldy none 23:00 51 11 22 264 (W) 1395 mstly cldy none 00:00 51 10 15 260 (W) 1416 cloudy none 01:00 50 10 18 265 (W) 1600 cloudy none 02:00 50 8 16 270 (W) 1471 cloudy none 03:00 49 10 17 269 (W) 1479 cloudy none 04:00 49 11 21 294 (WNW) 1433 ptly cldy none 05:00 47 11 15 274 (W) 1431 mstly clr none 06:00 47 11 12 270 (W) 1387 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
