Clear at midnight. Elevated dust levels. Echelle slitviewer images looked like a flat field but only on some fields (see fits files around 100-110). There were no error messages. I restarted the software to see if that would help. Not sure if we had the right field to begin with, star looked too faint. Brighter stars did not look like they were washed out, so maybe the contrast for faint stars is problematic. No other problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:58 dis-slit 471( 676) 63 47 15.3 17.4 16.8 17.2 15.6 1.40 00:33 ECHELLE 412( -668) 130 51 13.1 12.8 13.4 12.7 12.4 1.06 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 69 25 19 213 (SSW) 3155 mstly clr none 17:00 64 20 23 269 (W) 2126 mstly clr none 18:00 65 22 27 255 (WSW) 2610 mstly clr none 19:00 65 21 21 225 (SW) 2302 mstly clr none 20:00 61 18 19 254 (WSW) 2303 mstly clr none 21:00 59 15 24 250 (WSW) 2045 mstly clr none 22:00 59 15 25 234 (SW) 1715 mstly clr none 23:00 58 15 18 265 (W) 1626 clear none 00:00 57 14 18 269 (W) 2519 clear none 01:00 56 13 14 283 (WNW) 2989 clear none 02:00 54 12 11 270 (W) 2958 clear none 03:00 53 16 14 274 (W) 2681 clear none 04:00 53 18 20 293 (WNW) 2654 clear none 05:00 51 20 18 288 (WNW) 3049 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
