I also needed to re-adjust the slit center slightly upward. We might want to check to make sure the 1.5 arc sec slit is secure in the wheel. The current mask seemed to work fine, it was just off slightly. The 5 arc sec slit mask was also a little low. No problems otherwise and a nice clear night once the small patch of clouds moved through at the start of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:34 dis-slit 475( 658) 163 48 15.3 16.9 16.2 16.8 15.2 -- 1.43 00:13 dis-slit 354( 376) 209 59 14.6 14.0 14.5 14.0 14.0 -- 1.20 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 66 30 7 244 (WSW) 3493 mstly clr none 17:00 63 24 17 289 (WNW) 3792 mstly clr none 18:00 64 23 24 251 (WSW) 3667 ptly cldy none 19:00 63 24 19 266 (W) 3559 ptly cldy none 20:00 59 20 18 238 (WSW) 3512 ptly cldy none 21:00 59 18 17 253 (WSW) 3052 ptly cldy none 22:00 59 17 16 263 (W) 2774 clear none 23:00 60 15 15 242 (WSW) 2466 clear none 00:00 59 15 16 249 (WSW) 2590 clear none 01:00 59 16 18 244 (WSW) 2584 clear none 02:00 57 18 8 243 (WSW) 3058 clear none 03:00 56 16 14 258 (WSW) 2909 clear none 04:00 56 13 21 282 (WNW) 2353 clear none 05:00 55 13 14 266 (W) 2569 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
