Clearing just before sunset sent the temps dropping and humidity above closure limit. Power fluctuations during the day tripped the drive enclosure, reset and all was well. We opened at 22:00 with poor and variable seeing. We got 5 reflectors with APOLLO tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:09 dis-slit 456( 52) 238 65 4.8 5.7 6.6 5.6 4.7 -- 2.20 00:07 dis-slit 385( -104) 216 56 4.3 4.0 4.4 4.1 4.2 -- 2.20 04:07 APOLLO 500( 739) 82 40 4.7 4.1 4.5 4.3 4.4 -- 2.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 41 36 3 18 (NNE) 1631 mstly cldy lt rain 17:00 47 34 17 355 (N) 2312 mstly cldy rain 18:00 43 40 14 63 (ENE) 2225 ptly cldy none 19:00 44 37 15 57 (ENE) 1331 mstly clr none 20:00 41 37 24 62 (ENE) 1359 mstly clr humid 21:00 39 37 27 58 (ENE) 1124 clear humid 22:00 41 32 27 42 (NE) 881 clear none 23:00 40 32 27 65 (ENE) 736 clear none 00:00 40 27 32 59 (ENE) 2142 clear none 01:00 40 26 34 59 (ENE) 2288 clear none 02:00 40 27 26 65 (ENE) 1653 clear none 03:00 41 18 27 54 (NE) 2657 clear none 04:00 40 17 32 59 (ENE) 3123 clear none 05:00 40 19 20 69 (ENE) 3205 clear none 06:00 39 17 17 58 (ENE) 3567 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
