Clouds made data taking impossible from 21:26 until 03:23. After that seeing was variable at best. The winds stayed down for the most part. Just as the sky was clearing, the zaphod disk became too full. We lost the cloudcam, 3.5m weather info, and the dust counts. Jon was notified via email. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:59 dis-slit 434( 212) 121 62 8.1 9.3 9.2 9.0 7.8 -- 1.30 01:37 SPICAM 350( 117) -34 42 5.7 5.7 6.2 5.6 5.2 MSSSO R 1.70 01:55 NA2gdr -2847(27152) -44 35 5.7 5.3 5.8 5.3 4.9 Clear 1.90 02:54 SPICAM 450( 168) -53 31 5.7 4.3 4.9 4.3 3.9 MSSSO R 1.90 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 51 16 16 203 (SSW) 2314 cloudy none 17:00 55 15 23 233 (SW) 2100 cloudy none 18:00 51 14 22 219 (SW) 2233 mstly cldy none 19:00 48 14 25 221 (SW) 2333 clear none 20:00 46 15 23 206 (SSW) 2344 mstly clr none 21:00 47 14 23 201 (SSW) 2498 cloudy none 22:00 48 15 28 208 (SSW) 3158 cloudy none 23:00 48 14 22 220 (SW) 3033 cloudy none 00:00 46 14 15 208 (SSW) 2924 cloudy none 01:00 44 16 19 233 (SW) 2983 cloudy none 02:00 42 17 18 254 (WSW) 3085 ptly cldy none 03:00 15 247 (WSW) 3908 clear none 04:00 17 231 (SW) clear none 05:00 8 258 (WSW) clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
