Please CO2 clean mirror Monday due to dry dusty conditions tonight and elevated dust counts. I gave the first program a few mins of NM10 time since we got a late start due to dust and we had 2hrs of time for our target. Focus numbers are high tonight because telex fans were off due to dust. DIS left mounted since observer was taking cals in the morning. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:26 TSPEC 680( 780) -96 32 9.4 10.9 11.4 10.8 9.4 Ks 1.70 20:23 ECHELLE 901( -310) -103 20 8.8 9.2 10.5 9.1 8.6 ND3 2.30 21:31 ECHELLE 995( -247) -92 13 8.1 8.3 9.8 8.2 7.9 ND2 3.00 23:11 APOLLO 1145( 1504) -54 59 6.5 6.9 9.1 6.8 6.4 -- 2.50 00:28 dis-slit 947( 506) 244 76 4.6 5.1 6.4 5.0 4.5 -- 2.40 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 57 12 19 262 (W) 3833 clear none 17:00 56 12 33 250 (WSW) 6093 clear dust 18:00 55 11 29 255 (WSW) 6641 clear dust 19:00 52 8 19 266 (W) 5518 clear dust 20:00 48 5 32 249 (WSW) 5911 clear dust 21:00 48 5 26 259 (W) 5027 clear dust 22:00 47 4 28 247 (WSW) 4676 clear dust 23:00 45 3 18 238 (WSW) 4443 clear dust 00:00 44 6 21 250 (WSW) 6448 clear dust 01:00 41 13 18 261 (W) 5939 clear dust 02:00 39 19 22 263 (W) 5709 clear dust 03:00 36 24 12 277 (W) 6639 clear dust 04:00 36 24 28 282 (WNW) 6913 clear dust 05:00 33 23 18 289 (WNW) 6901 clear dust 06:00 31 21 20 264 (W) 6425 clear dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
