They gave us the time after 05:00 for engineering, at the end of the night, to do a pointing model. I had zero'ed the rotator last night via tape mark to level it, since NIIS was already mounted. Started an 80 point (std model) but only got 70 points before I needed to close. Email sent with results to the usual suspects. NIIS left mounted and warming. They will start removing electronics and getting it prepped for transport in the afternoon (after they get some sleep). ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:08 NIIS 5050( 4513) -65 52 -1.3 -0.0 4.2 -0.4 -0.9 Ks 2.90 01:27 NIIS 5300( 4703) -161 48 -1.6 -1.3 2.1 -1.5 -1.7 H? 2.40 05:08 GUIDER 802( 166) -30 53 -2.5 -1.9 0.8 -2.1 -2.4 clear 2.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 48 6 41 216 (SW) 82717 clear dust 17:00 46 8 28 264 (W) 30973 clear dust 18:00 42 4 30 261 (W) 31474 clear dust 19:00 40 5 28 241 (WSW) 15796 clear dust 20:00 39 4 14 262 (W) 11764 clear dust 21:00 37 4 21 247 (WSW) 12083 clear dust 22:00 36 6 24 235 (SW) 6022 clear dust 23:00 32 8 15 265 (W) 4683 clear dust 00:00 31 13 18 294 (WNW) 5480 clear dust 01:00 28 15 17 322 (NW) 6093 clear dust 02:00 30 11 16 269 (W) 4955 clear dust 03:00 30 12 16 253 (WSW) 4231 clear dust 04:00 30 13 6 261 (W) 3903 clear none 05:00 28 13 5 258 (WSW) 4278 mstly clr none 06:00 27 13 8 92 (E) 4015 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
