Mostly cloudy skies for most of the night with the occasional patches of less cloudy skies. We did open around 21:00 to cool and tried getting some stars on the instrument around 21:40 with not much luck (clouds & possible instrument issues (actually focus was off quite a bit)). Clouds stopped us an hour later. We re-opened around midnight and stayed open the remainder of the night with clouds coming and going. Best instrument focus was at 4300 We finally got an instrument block at the very end of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 48 6 10 238 (WSW) 2609 mstly cldy none 17:00 46 5 13 217 (SW) 2342 mstly cldy none 18:00 43 4 9 210 (SSW) 1995 mstly cldy none 19:00 43 4 8 184 (S) 1994 mstly cldy none 20:00 44 4 9 192 (SSW) 2543 mstly cldy none 21:00 43 4 10 199 (SSW) 2019 mstly cldy none 22:00 42 4 11 219 (SW) 2263 mstly cldy none 23:00 44 3 11 236 (SW) 1714 mstly cldy none 00:00 45 3 11 265 (W) 989 ptly cldy none 01:00 45 4 15 259 (W) 1222 ptly cldy none 02:00 43 5 13 244 (WSW) 1238 ptly cldy none 03:00 42 2 14 211 (SSW) 1305 mstly cldy none 04:00 43 1 15 198 (SSW) 1088 mstly cldy none 05:00 43 2 13 217 (SW) 1266 mstly cldy none 06:00 43 4 10 234 (SW) 1259 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
