Next observer complained about the pointing while using the echelle slitviewer. Targets were on the edge of the slitviewer and sometimes difficult to find. Apparently the TertPoint script does not work for NA1. Ecam was down from 22:37 to 23:58, but we managed to get it running again and updated the wiki. More pointing issues kept this observer off until 00:18. Observing was fine afterward. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:29 ECHELLE 832( -456) 231 70 7.5 9.1 7.7 8.9 7.6 ND3 0.82 19:38 ECHELLE 588( -768) 273 65 7.5 7.7 7.6 7.6 7.3 Clear 0.74 00:18 dis-slit 445( 96) 235 68 7.7 6.9 7.4 7.0 6.9 1.07 02:29 dis-slit 357( 25) 125 30 6.6 6.2 6.7 6.2 6.1 1.83 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 47 14 2 271 (W) 803 clear none 17:00 47 17 13 323 (NW) 710 clear none 18:00 47 14 5 276 (W) 602 clear none 19:00 46 10 8 335 (NNW) 492 clear none 20:00 45 4 8 313 (NW) 437 clear none 21:00 46 11 11 237 (WSW) 468 clear none 22:00 46 15 11 238 (WSW) 456 clear none 23:00 46 14 12 238 (WSW) 509 clear none 00:00 46 10 14 226 (SW) 406 clear none 01:00 45 11 11 189 (S) 397 clear none 02:00 44 10 13 225 (SW) 443 clear none 03:00 45 10 12 228 (SW) 408 clear none 04:00 44 13 9 252 (WSW) 412 clear none 05:00 43 14 9 314 (NW) 463 clear none 06:00 45 15 4 272 (W) 461 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
