With dust flirting with closure limits, opened at 19:25. Stayed open, and once the telescope equilibrated seeing was beautiful. Dust calmed after midnight. (note, dust was not dangerous while open) DIS temps are great, even though ion pump is almost pegged. In the morning the eyelids and mirror covers refused to be controlled from TUI. Reset the mirror covers, but eyelids still don't work. Also got Gabrelle's odd fan on/off errors 03:05:49 APO.alaina 97 telmech f errtxt="invalid literal for int(): FAN.ON" Have a lovely Leap Day! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:11 AGILE -1425(-2603) 168 71 -0.4 -0.5 0.3 -0.8 -1.0 BG40 2.30 21:27 AGILE -1375(-2564) 176 72 -0.7 -0.7 0.0 -0.9 -1.2 BG40 1.76 23:06 AGILE -1200(-2421) 216 65 -1.2 -1.4 -0.8 -1.4 -1.5 BG40 1.50 00:24 dis-slit 488( -301) -2 60 -1.8 -1.8 -1.3 -1.8 -2.0 -- 1.30 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 35 18 22 275 (W) 19439 clear dust 17:00 34 10 19 258 (WSW) 13526 clear dust 18:00 30 7 18 263 (W) 21260 clear dust 19:00 30 3 25 287 (WNW) 11472 clear dust 20:00 30 6 13 266 (W) 4443 clear dust 21:00 31 7 18 276 (W) 3327 clear dust 22:00 31 8 24 249 (WSW) 3718 clear dust 23:00 30 8 12 273 (W) 3219 clear dust 00:00 29 9 12 312 (NW) 2615 clear none 01:00 30 11 20 289 (WNW) 2434 clear none 02:00 29 11 21 295 (WNW) 2311 clear none 03:00 29 9 20 281 (W) 2250 clear none 04:00 29 8 12 275 (W) 2056 clear none 05:00 28 5 11 277 (W) 2001 clear none 06:00 31 -2 14 309 (NW) 1522 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
