All science instruments have had pointing updated since the trouble last week, and we hope they will remain stable until the engineering near the end of the month. After that, the night was peaceful and near-perfect, with photometric skies and subarcsecond seeing. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:41 AGILE 425(-2045) 38 51 4.0 5.2 5.2 5.0 4.0 r 0.75 00:04 dis-slit 420( -122) 160 65 3.8 3.1 3.6 3.4 3.1 - 0.81 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 44 24 10 308 (NW) 158 clear none 17:00 40 24 15 274 (W) 162 clear none 18:00 39 24 11 256 (WSW) 166 clear none 19:00 39 25 13 253 (WSW) 212 clear none 20:00 37 24 14 265 (W) 184 clear none 21:00 37 23 10 276 (W) 154 clear none 22:00 38 20 11 267 (W) 123 clear none 23:00 38 20 10 263 (W) 106 clear none 00:00 39 18 14 267 (W) 109 clear none 01:00 38 19 8 267 (W) 94 clear none 02:00 38 19 8 271 (W) 107 clear none 03:00 37 22 7 284 (WNW) 160 clear none 04:00 37 21 11 277 (W) 185 clear none 05:00 35 22 10 264 (W) 183 clear none 06:00 35 20 11 257 (WSW) 162 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
